Clean Up Damaged Documents
Paper records naturally deteriorate over time, especially when kept in non-ideal storage environments, so most of them do not come to us in pristine condition. Through the digitization process we can clean up and repair most documents digitally. Some of the processes we use are removing hole punches, clean up document background, fix blurry or faded text, and despeckle to produce crisp, clear documents.

FAQs
-
We would never recommend shipping aircraft records via common carriers. If those records were to be lost by the shipper prior to digital conversion, the loss of value to the aircraft would be substantial.
-
We always recommend bringing the records directly to our vault in Franklin, Tennessee. Nashville is a major tourist destination and only 30 minutes away, so plan a trip, bring us your records (we love meeting and getting to know our clients) and enjoy the live music, shopping, dining, sports, history and all the excitement that Nashville and her surrounding communities have to offer!
-
Yes, FedEx Custom Critical provides a dedicated delivery vehicle and is an option, to learn more click here.
-
Outside of our select staff, anyone who has access to your aircraft records is determined by you. Our clients always have the option to add or remove access to anyone they choose; maintenance crew, pilot, bank, attorney, potential buyer, or anyone else you choose.
-
Ownership of the aircraft records is always retained by the owner. If you decide to sell your aircraft, we would be honored to continue maintaining and protecting both the physical and digital records for the new owner. However, if the new owner wishes to go another direction, we can work with them to schedule pick up of their original records.
-
Simply have your maintenance crew forward the original records to Vault Aircraft Records and we will incorporate them with your digital logbooks as well as with your existing physical records.
